This is ms 19′s representation of a picture I took back in the spring of 1999. She was 9 & her sister was 3, we were renting a house with a large pond out front, ms then 9 was adamant that we needed to go swimming in the pond, I, being 7 months pregnant with mr 9 was equally adamant that it being 0nly 73 degrees we would not be swimming. I snapped the picture of ms 9 & her tag along 3 year old sister sitting under the tree sulking at the pond that they were denied.
Ms 19 was told in 10th grade to paint something from a picture that she loved, she decided to use this one.
