1. She had a great deal of stress & felt entitled to take the evening off.
2. my cell phone is by my side, always.
3. I know this: as soon as you think everything is going well, life will throw you a curve ball.
4. I’m sort of glad, that even at 19, 13 & (almost) 10, my kids need me once in awhile still.
5. These words apply to me: fat, cheerful, too busy.
6. We had to cut the grass while the sun was shining.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to finishing my abbreviated work week, even though it will actually be Saturday morning when I do, tomorrow my plans include hanging out with Chrissie & her daughter, along with my kids, somewhere wet- since it’s going to be nearly 90 and Sunday, I want to take Chrissie & her daughter to the train station & manage to find my way back home without getting us lost!
We did the same while the sun was shining. It has rained for the past 6 days here.

Mine are 16, just turned 15, and 10… and yeah, it’s kinda nice to still be needed once in a while
